In every skein of yarn I see
and feel an opportunity for creation,
beauty, joy, comfort, and love.
For every skein of yarn is still
open to all possibilities of
what it may become in my simple,
worn out hands.
In every person I meet,
I see an opportunity for shared meaning,
creation, beauty, joy, comfort,
and love.
For every person I meet is still
a stranger and open to all possibilities of
what our relationship may become in both our
simple, worn out hands.
I always pray, with my worn out hands outstretched,
that I will see the Light in others,
and that they may see the Light in me.
